I have inserted a Revit file as a link into the file I am working on and my problem is when I place a dimension to something in the linked model and the dimensioned object is moved or deleted I lose my dimension.  I understand why this happens (you have to dimension to something) but does any one else have this problem?

Any suggested work arounds?

Thanks that was the only solution I could come up with as well.  Interesting point about the AutoCAD files moving which I was unaware of too.
