I have a problem being able to turn and view my project in 3-d. The revolutions are incredibly slow . In the past i have worked on 4 story hotel that were bigger files up to 100 meg and didnt experience this problem. The company that i work for had an independent consultant build a 27 story high-rise model (the file is 70 meg). i am now working on this file and cannot contact the individual for any questions or concerns. we have 4 gig of ram on our new Dell dimension 9200's and are currently working on a 32 bit operating system. Weve had our Network engineer look at the graphics card which he claims is a good card. Invidia i believe. He has tweaked it to a point and has pointed out that when one tries to move rotate the view, the cpu eats up at 100%!.We have ordered the Vista Upgrades and they are in route . According to Dell, once we have installed Vista on these machines, they will "self Configure" to 64 bit OS. Hopefully this will enhance performance and we will see an improvement. if not, we have a serious issue in the fact that we have a 27 story high-rise that we will have to work like molasses! if anyone can shed light on this or offer any ideas or solutions, it would be GREATLY aprreciated. also when i generate walk-thru's they are choppy, and creat huge file 300 meg for a 15 sec walkthru!? Again, any help would be appreciated.

Hard say without being there.  A couple of points:
1.  Graphic cards simply don't matter in Revit unless you are using Open GL.  Then see www.augi.com for a list of supported cards.  If you have Open GL on and a non-supported card you will be best to turn Open GL off.
2.  Revit 9.1 is not Vista ready.  Don't upgrade to Vista if you expect to run Revit.

I'll go out on a limb here and state the obvious. Do you have shading turned on? Also, the size of your walk-through is fairly typical. The choppyness is a result of your frame frequency not the video card. Taking smaller steps will smooth out the animation but also increase your file size to cover the same ground.
