I do not like host sweeps for this because of the problems you are having and because they do to work when you have a gable. Instead, I would use an in place sweep family as shown in the attached images.

Can you edit the pofile for a gable end wall and the sweeps are cut at an angle mbsteve?

Hi WW, Good question, this was posted several months back and I printed it for future reference. I believe it will cut just like a normal wall but I am not sure, might have to use void. Steve
