I am looking for ways to manage the families that we are creating for our firm.

In our previous platform we had a utility that would look at the model of the file whether it be 2d or 3d and generate a image of that block and build a HTML page of the blocks we had in that directory. We then could print this page out and even drag and drop into the program. Not that I am looking for all of these functions but the one that I am most interested in is creating an image of the family and formationg it so it can be printed. The old dogs here still want a 8 1/2 x 11 print out of the 3d image. I do not want to save the image out of Revit because I am looking at over 100 pieces of equipment that I have created and all the typical stuff that comes with Revit and to call each one up to save an image would be too time consuming. This utility we had could do this operation in about 5 minutes on 100 files.

I am new to Revit so all that is available is slowly comming to me but if anyone knows of a good resource for after market utilities I would appreciate it.
