This seems an easy concept but when I enter the formula I get an error count cannot be used in formulas. I need to show that "room name count" / "grand total count" as a percentive. Someone has to have a work-around. Thanks

The built-in field of count cannot be used in a percentage calculation as the result would be meaningless which is why they don't allow it. In order to give meaning to a room count one needs to group the database report [Revit schedule] on a meaningful field such as 'department' and create your own field called room count which is an integer and calculate out a percentage of that when grouped by department. Alternatively, you can get a built-in room count if you sort/group by department, room type, name etc.

Sorry but I have a brain freeze, I am trying to accomplish this very thing and this explanation hasn’t sunk into to my thick skull!
I have different types of rooms
I have the count of each room type in the schedule
I have the total rooms at the bottom of the schedule (calculate totals switched on)
How do I get the percent of the room type to the grand total?
