Hello. I'm trying to follow the "Nested & Arrayed Families by: Mr. Spot" but I keep getting constraints error in the louvre positioning. I have a constraint to the left reference plan, the louvre width is linked to the window width but I can't make the sill constraint to work. It’s either left or still. Can’t make them both!??! I'm probably missing something very basic but...is someone could give me a some help...I'm out of ideas..:-( Can someone take a look at the file? Thanks a lot.

Okay, I had a look. In your individual louvre family, go to one of your elevations. You need to change the properties of the reference plane that is aligned with the reference level. Select the reference plane and change the properties from "Not a reference" to bottom. This will then give you the ability to dimension to the reference plane when nested. This is occurring as when you are constraining the louvre in the window family it is dimensioned to the louvre element rather than to a louvre reference plane and thus pushing on the sketch of the louvre as opposed to moving the louvre. This seems to be a new behaviour in the Revit 7 templates as normal the reference level could still be a reference in the project. This is not the case any more and i believe its to do with how families would behave in groups...
