I am trying to use a bar joist, but rather than it running horizontal, I need it to run on an angle with the roof slope. I cannot seem to be able to get the right combination in the element properties structural analysis section to be able to angle it. Can someone tell me what needs to happen for me to do this?

You can adjust the bearing heights of the bar joist by using the end level offset in the properties tag.
