I have created a standing seam metal roof as sloped glazing as described in a number of posts. This works well on sloped roofs, but when I try to add this roof type to an arched roof it has the seams (mullions) on the underside of the roof, and it has them running in the wrong direction, see attached picture. Any suggestions to overide the mullion positions to get it to function properly would be great. Thanks a lot in advance

Instead of using the roof command make an in-place roof using a sweep. It might be a pain drawing the profile but it may get you the look your after.
