I am brand new to Revit, so if this seems absurd...you know why.

I realize it is possible to create customized walls with a given structure and finish materials and such, but can componets be added into these walls. For Instance, can a column be placed every time a point is clicked while other finish materials continue spanning as the line is drawn?
