So, here's the deal.
I've made a light fixture from the light fixture family (non wall based). I've applied translucent glass to the fixture and some aluminum accents.
I've placed it into my project and would like to turn them on. How would I go about doing this? I know this seems like a really in depth question...but I would like to know the best way to start turning on lights and rendering the perspective view.
Thanks in advance for all of you help!

Typically by default lights are turned on when you import them into a project. If they are not on, go to you rendering tab and select lighting, here you will find a list of every light in your project itemized by its item number. You can check and uncheck lights to turn them on or off as well as adjust the "dimmer". An easier way to control lighting for interior or exterior perspectives is to create light groups (Rendering tab> Light groups). Here you can group lights to turn on or off and dim as a group. This also will help to clarify which lights you are turning on and off.
