I have an E1 (42x30) titleblock that was made some months ago but is only now being test-plotted. Since it was so long ago, I'm not certain how I created the family. However, I believe it was created by saving as... on a full E (48x36) titleblock. Oops. Needless to say, the titleblock is shifted. I tried to quick-fix it by creating a Print Setup that shifts everything -6",-6", but it's still off about 2" in X and .5" in Y. However, if I change teh paper size to 48x36, the entire thing fits on (or, it nearly fits on... but much closer than 2" . I'm using the 2D DWF writer (not the DWF exporter) to test this. I get qualitatively the same errors with PDF, though I haven't measured to see if the offset errors are the same. I think that it still might be a case of incorrect positioning in the family, but it's near impossible to figure out exactly how incorrect. I have two questions here: 1) Is there any way to determine where the base point of a titleblock family rests? It seems to me there'd be a ref plane or ref line like in other families, but there isn't. 2) Failing that, I'll need to re-create this titleblock from the New Size family. However, all this has is two dimensions to start, no parameters or ref lines or anything... so, which corner needs to be held in the same position?
