I have used the linework tool to change some lines to invisible lines.  Everything looks fine on screen but when printed, the lines show up as a screened hidden line.  I'm looking for a fix.  Thanks in advance.

I know this is not a good solution, the best wiold be to change the model, but you can block out a pesky line using a solid white fill pattern make sure you change the line type to hidden line before drawing the fill pattern.

what object's lines are u trying to hide ? if you are trying to hide lines of a 'mass' then u must be careful to use raster processing and not vector processing when u print. i dont know why but masses give diffculty in plans / sections when printed thru vector processing.

another problem cud be that when u zoom out of a drawing certain elements which are behind a surface, but very close to it, start showing thru (thru opque surfaces). in this case u will have to zoom all and then re-use the invisible line command.
