I am working on a project that incorporates irregular, angular geometry. The facades are articulated with isosceles tirangles (mega triangles Cryingthat contain 9 smaller trangles) have two edges 5275mm and the other one 6250mm long). Refer the drawing attached for part of an elevation. It is a large (AUS$300mill) project modelled in Rhino and documented in AutoCAD. The firm would like to explore Revit.

I was wondering if Revit could create a face-baced triangular curtain panel system. I've tried to create the triangle panels as a curtain panel family and I've tried 'graphically modifying face layout' by changing the angles... I can't get them to work.

How can we do it?

Thanks for your time.

Diamond pattern is easy. You may have to add the horizontal mullions by creating an in-place family. Not sure though. I've attached a sample file created using a mass and curtain system.

Thanks for your reply. But...

Revit will not let you change the "system panel - Glazed" family within that drawing you sent me (nor any other I've tried). It seams that when you introduce an angle to the curtain sytem it cannot deal with family patterns.

We really need that triangle pattern (with isosceles angles) not just a diamond shape.

What do you reckon?
