Hello everyone; Several weeks ago I posted a question about F.Lloyd Wright´s Jhonson Wax Building, which Mr Spot answered to me: http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=5871 , which was very helpful. Nowdays, I have done a deeper research about that building, and now I know it is not a variable section floor matter but maybe it is a hosted family matter ¿?. In that case, I guess it is about the same Mr Spot answred to me in that post...., but I still have a question: could someone please tell me how could I build that so Revit Structure recognize it the best way?. I was also trying to model the facade, that it was built with hundreds of glass tubes (pyrex glass), so I´m trying to model a family. Linking its parameters to design formulas, I can use that families as courtain wall hosted elements.....The problem is the next: if I create the massing of the tower as a solid extrusion, I effectively can use the panels, but the actual tower was not built in that way: it is a tapered solid (attached files), so I cant create a single courtain wall (wall by face). I tried to use then a system panel family by lines, which works good, but I dont know how to host any panel on it. Does anyone know how it could be done? Thanks in advance!
