Many thanks, no doubt as im a new user there will be plenty more questions i will ask that may sound dumb, please excuse me.

Hi Guys:

can somebody tell me about the rendering quality fo Revit. Ilike revit but for rendering purposes I take my files to 3d max or viz..Does Revit have that qualities. Acurender does not seem to have those features and quite time consuming..

Please let me know.

thanks

Ss

sopori, did you do a search first?

R7oky you will find all the materials I believe in "C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataAutodeskRevit Building 9.1RenderingAccuRenderRedistSUPPORT"

you should make your own custom library from the settings menu>materials. on the right side, click the down arrow next to the accurender box.

Anyone wanting to get into rendering with Revit should check out the following website:  www.accustudio.com
The rendering engine in Revit [as of 9.1] is Accurender by Robert McNeal and Associates a non-Autodesk company.  Accustudio has a full material library compatible with Revit as well as many raw seemless textures and Accurender tutorials.  All of this is free and worth the surf.
