I am having trouble creating a floor register that works correctly in Revit Systems. Can anyone provide some help with how I should go about creating this grille. 

Or, If anyone has created one and wouldn't mind sharing it, I would greatly appriciate it.

I'm just getting into Revit Systems after our years of doing only Revit Building.  Families in Revit Systems are far more complex than the RB families.

Have you tried opening, saving and modifying a stock Revit Systems family?  Try opening the Simple Supply Diffuser - Hosted located in the Imperial Library>Mechanical>Equipment

Also be sure to check out a class on AU2006 online taught for creating content in Revit Systems.  Signing up for the AU2006 Online is free and well worth your time to watch the recorded classes and download and print the class handouts.

Thank you, I have tried modifying a stock revit systems family, although I have not tried the specific one you mentioned. I will give it a try.
