Currently I am adding in all of standard tags that we have from ADT into Revit.  There are a couple that I am having difficulty creating.  Two are control joints and expansion joints.  The trouble is that these are usually line work.  So can you make a tag that tags line work.  I know I could make them components but we are currently switching 45 people in our firm from using ADT and PowerCad to Revit and we want this to be as simple as possible and with little complaining as possible and I think that will cause problems.

You could create a 'detail' item that is simple linework to show your expansion joint and then tag it with a detail item tag.

Thanks that worked but now my tag leader will not go to the line.  It remains offset form the line.

Also my tag is a triangle is the a way to make the leader only go to the points of the triangle.

Well I saw that I can just make it a free, so I guess that works.  It would be nicer if it would attach to the line rather than being offset.
