Happy New Year for Everyone ,

 I was wondering if anyone knows of any utilities can be used with Revit files to control access of users to these fies instead of relying on the group permissions of the operating system .

we have a big number of users and they are working on diffrent projects on a multi team environment, we would like to create a special project teams with limited permisions to access other teams work and prevent them from making any changes to other teams work by allowing a view only access and so on.

Your help would be greatly apprecaited.

Look into worksets.  The 'security' is limited, but when done correctly only certain people can work on certain parts of the project.
