is there any other way to create a wall that curves vertically without using the massing tools? because once I create it with the massing tool, i would like to be able to control it like any other wall (ie-dragging by endpoints, so on and so forth) it just seems that once i create it with the massing tool, it's not very easy to edit. any help would be appreciated! i'm going to guess that there is no other way to do it, but you never know. i've also attached a sample drawing (revit 9) thanks!

That is the way to do it. Wall tool is only for vertical walls. What are you trying to build with the curved wall?

The massing tool is your best bet. Editing these walls is quite easy. Simply edit the mass, finish the mass, select the wall and select "remake" and the wall will conform to the need shape of the face. You could even give you mass some parameters so you can just control its length with a parameter then just hit remake... HTH.
