I would like to model my metal deck as a diaphragm connecting to my shears wall. Everytime I try to draw the deck extents to the analytical line of the wall, it asks if I want to run the wall to the bottom of the deck. I want it to set the deck back to the face of the wall, and connect it with closure angles. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You should just be able to choose 'No' when it asks if you want to attach the wall to the bottom of the deck. That is just an automagic feature of revit that often becomes annoying. HTH

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line! |
