Have load a cad file of a site plan, it's visibility is checked on, but it does not show up, have checked a few things such as view depths and phases but nothing, any suggestions?

Make sure you have the import scale correct.

Are you importing 3D or current view only?

If 3D go to your 3D view and do a zoom extents, possibly the z co-ordinates are really large forcing the import to not show in your plan.

check the dwg and make sure there isn't anything forcing the origin to be in a rediculous location.  Do a window selection in the Revit view to make sure they aren't imported and just really tiny...
