can anyone help me with stairs that show the stairs dashed after the cut line when they are set as "new construction" , but when I change them to "existing" they show up as a continuous linetype after the cut line. I need them to be dashed, can anyone help me? thanks.

I hate stairs in Revit (here, I said it!) to cut a long answer short and to save time, just use the linetype pen and set the line type you want, will take 30 sec max...
