Following a class at AU, I have been trying to recreate a project from it - a valve that refers to a lookup table for sizing.

How (and what) do you do to add the parameter of lookup table to the family?  It's not in new families by default and when I started from normal fittings and tried to recreate the geometry, revit systems crashed on me.

I understand that it is similar to type catalogs in the architectural release, but there is nothing on adding that either.  Can anyone help?  I have attached what I created so far to this post. I realize that the geometry in my default valve is too big, but I just drew it that way for no good reason.  Thanks.

I looked at your info and attached the fix. I think the file has to have a .txt extension not .cvs. Also it must have exactly the same name and be in the same location on the hard drive. Look at the files attached and let me know if you have any questions.
