The company I work for has 7 different offices, thus we have 7 different addresses. I'd like to create one titleblock family with 7 different components each with a different address. So, when I load the titleblock family I can pick from the type selecter the proper titleblock for the office I want. Similar to how a dynamic block works in ACAD. Is there a way to do this or do I have to create a seperate titleblock family for each office?

Thanks,

Matt

You can make use of a 'type catelog' in Revit that holds all the office and address information.  When the user loads the titleblock family they are presented with a type selection grid.  Load a steel column to see a type catalog in action.  You need to create generic annotations that you load into your titleblock and then link to the parameters fed from the type catalog.  It gets a bit tricky and is not something most newbies can get a handle on.

Check the Revit help file for some guidance on type catalogs.

You could also use simple visability parameters to control the text display of each office and make a new 'type' based on the visibility selections.

HTH get you going

Thanks for the suggestion. I think a visability setting is exactly what I want. How would I go about creating one or actually 7 of those in one titleblock?

Take a look at this example for some ideas on how to accomplish with visibility parameters.
