How do you create your own wall detail... For example a wall for a log cabin???

If you want to create your own detail from scratch using drafting tools/techniques, create a "Drafting View" from the View tab and start drafting. When you want to link a reference to the drafting view you can create a Callout, Section, or Elevation and use the "Reference other view" drop down box to pick the appropriate detail.

there have been several threads on log cabins on revit city. just tested searching 'log', anf there's loads of suggestions - have a look.
