I am trying to print my sections in Revit,  I have select sections marks, elevation levels and grid lines that I would like to shut off in certain views and show in others when I print sheets.   For instance I only want to show the elevation levels of the floors in a sections view, but I have elevation levels of the t.o. steel and b.o. window sill too.  How can I hid the t.o. steel and b.o. window levels and still see the floor levels when I print.  Or only show two out of the five sections that I have.

It was suggested that I copy the veiw and delete what I didn't want to show, but if I did that then it deleted the section, or level in every drawing.

Go into the view were you want to hide some of the annotations, select them and right click - choose "Hide annotation in view"

Thanks, for the reply, unfortunately I have tried this before and the objects still appear when I print.

Hiding the sections and elevations by right clicking on them and choosing "hide in view" should work.

You can also explore using scope boxes to limit visibility of grids and levels.  See the Revit help file for some more information on scope boxes.

There is a difference between right clicking- hide in view and the temporarily hide from the View menu.  The temporary hide will still print.

I believe you should be able to individually select the elevation targets that you don't want and Hide Permanently. Temporarily Hiding them will not work as they will still print despite not being visible on the screen. Hide Permanently is the tool given when you select and right click on an element.
