Hi All: I am in the market for a laptop and finding several options for graphics cards Which is better for Revit: NVidia or ATI Radeon? Are either of these better suited for Sketch-Up? Any advice? Thanks

you never know about graphics cards- depends on your system- i buy the ones i can return and try them out.. unless you HAVE to work on your computer while on the road- notebook computers really suck.. SketchUp is the childrens version of revit massing.. and don't forget about the pencil..

at the moment Nvidia is leading the way with graphic cards and ATI are playing catch up... saying that, to date revit is still not taking full advantage of opengl so spending a lot of money on a card won't help you much. I would look for a notebook with Dual Core 2 cpu and plenty of RAM...
