Hi Everyone,

I am about to cross platform from ADT to Revit. I am about to start all over again but it will be worth it I am sure. I am getting my own style drawing template together in itd differnt sizes, Ai, A2 and A3. My question is that I use a house jpeg as my logo. Does anyone know how I can attach this in my heading box.

regards

Mark

File>Import>Image

load it onto your titleblock family(if I'm understanding you correctly), then when you import your titleblock, your jpeg will come with it.

you aren't by any chance importing all your sheet sizes into one project template are you? you could make a separate template file for each page size. the more sheets you have in your project file, the larger the file size is. you can clean up the file by purging though if that's the way you want to go.

To insert an image file [.jpg .png .bmp] go to File>Import/Link>Image

I would recommend doing a 'template' for each style or type of contruction and not load the 'titleblocks' into the template but keep them seperate to load in as required.  Having multiple 'templates' leads to great duplication of work especially when you first are starting off using Revit as you will discover many things along the way to add to your template.

[Edit: framerman beat me to hitting the submit button as I got sidetracked with a phone call]
