i am having problems linking a revit 9.1 file to a revit systems. i can not even open this file in revit system 1? any body know of any compatibility issues

I hope I'm wrong for your sake, but I believe you can't do it that way. Revit 9.1 is compatible with Revit systems version 2 I believe. None of Revit releases are compatible with previous releases.

There was a second build of Systems 1 that allowed the opening and linking of files in Building 9.1. Systems 2 is also compatible with Building 9.1
