You should take your window and open it in the family editor. Once in there, you need to do some solid modeling of your grills that you want. It would take me a really long time to explain everything you need to know in the family editor, so you need to investigate it for yourself. It will be well worth your time. If you are looking for some good tutorials on Revit and the family editor along with explanations on how to create windows, dgcad has some great video tutorials for a very inexpensive price.
