We are a Residential Design firm that likes to dimension to one side of the wall (core wall), for example left face to left face, etc...  any ideas how to do this?

 Thank you,

Brandy

Yes, once you select dimension, you have many options on the bar above with your preferences for face of core among others.

Thank you...but is it possible to dimension an entire wall with one side of the core face selected?  As I have done it, the walls are dimensioned as well, example:  the core wall of 3 1/2" is also dimensioned.

Thank you again,

American Gables

yes, select modify, then select your dimension line, then select edit witness lines. click on the extension line you do not want and it should disappear. after that, you have to select a blank area of the screen to click to enter the modified dimension.
