I know that Accurender supports multiple processors, but it seems that Revit does not. Is there a way to allow revit to draw on multiple processors and if not will there be in the near future?

Revit at this time does not support dual core. We are all holding thumbs that it will be supported in Revit 10.

While I don't have any information from autodesk suggesting that they will support more than one processor, it would seem that all major software vendors should be moving in this direction. AMD and Intel both have dual core processors right now, with Intel already having launched a 4 core processor and AMD will in the early part of 2007 launch a 4x4 platform (4 cores (on 2 chips) and 4 graphics cards). Intel has laid out a game plan of possibly having as many as 32 cores per chip by 2010.

The future is deffinetely in multiple processors, and all major software manufacturers should be jumping on board, or they will be left in the dust by those that do make the switch.
