Will many of you Revit City members be attending this years Autodesk University conferance in Las Vegas? This will be my first year, and I would like a little input from others about what to expect. Have you had good or bad experiances? Is it worth the money? What is your favorite part of AU? I'm just curious what it is going to be like.

I won't be ther this year. I have been the past three years running though. Basically it is 5000 geeks in a hotel in Vegas. (I include myself in the geek category!) Seriously it is a great time. There will be 5000 plus people there this year and it is like any other large convention. You can get lost in the crowd or make yourself known by interacting with others. The classes for Revit this year will be huge so be sure to get there early as possible and sit near the front. Hang around and talk to the instructors after class. The Revit mixer is Monday night and a great spot to meet your fellow Reviteers. Don't be shy and be sure to attend all the parties, meals and other special events. While the classes are great the networking is even better. Have fun!

Cool. Thanks for the input. Does anyone else have an AU experience to share?
