We just started experiencing a pretty significant problem with Revit 9.1.  I save about every 15 minutes or so.  When I save and close the most recent file at the end of the day and open it the next morning, there is random information from the model that is missing.  Once it was a wall, several times it has been wall sweeps, annotations, detail components.  Is this something that there is an update for that we missed, or is this a fatal flaw in the system.  It is getting to the point that hours of time are being spent fixing the problems at the beginning of each day.  And the information loss is not isolated to the last save, sometimes it loses information (like the wall or wall sweeps) that has been in the file for months.  Please help.  We are seriously considering scrapping Revit if this problem cannot be resolved.

Thanks.

If your team is working in a shared environment it's possible that changes from other users are causing errors that force Revit to drop some of these objects.  You'll get an error message during save to central that will tell you why.  Also, I've seen new Revit users accidentally delete objects by deleting what they think are rogue lines, which aren't rogue at all ;-)

I attribute this to user error. If things are missing then users are deleting things they should not. We have never in four years of intesive use experienced this either as a standalone or using worksets. Go slap your users around they may be asleep at the wheel!
