Has anyone had experience in placing isolated foundations (pile caps) on a non-flat uniform level?

We have a multi-storey project built on a slope. We have successfully modelled the sloping surface bed and attached our column bases to an offset distance to achieve the column bottoms at a uniform distance down from the surface bed slab. Now that we are attaching pile caps to these columns, we cannot make the pile caps attach to the bottom of the columns - they display correctly in plan view, but the levels are incorrect. The pile caps are inserted at a uniform level, not following the actual levels which vary by 7m.

Any suggestions please.

I'm not a Stucture user, but sound like a custom or modified family is needed that allows for a slope.  You could always do a in-place family to get you by if you can't create the new family.

Thanks for suggestion. However our problem is more about getting a conventional flat bottomed foundation/ pile cap to attach to varying offset column bases. There are in excess of 850 foundation positions so I would really prefer not to have to create in-place families for each one!
