Newbie on board!! How do (or can I) crop a viewport on my drawings sheet or somehow change the viewport so that I only show a part of a floor plan.

hi, in ur floor plan, right click and click view properties, ther u have crop region click to select that. It would show u the crop box on the drawing. U can now pull the blue dots to the area u want in the plan to print or work on. then on the sheet, that after u have loaded a sheet u can just drag that floor plan from the properties bar on the sheet for it to appear on the sheet BUt now i have a question, can some one help me with this. If i want to print a number of plans ... say have 14 floor plans to print on different sheet each, but i want the plans to fit at the same position for each one how do i do that?... is there anything like a template? i mean i set up one format on sheet for say a plan a elevation / section and can repeat the same on other sheets at those poisitions only? by only changing the Ground floor plan to say first floor or elevation A to elevation B?? can some one help me with that? now thats in one project itself..

pi_arch, I believe you are talking about marco rather than templete in this case. In Revit, you can setup a templete which everytime it open up 14 seperate sheets (pre-set) but I believe it don't have the capabilities to direct the copy action of all the different levels of plan (eventhough identical) to each separate sheets. I think if you want to have every plan at the same location, properly you have to create an same insertion point at each sheets and drag drop the plans on to the sheets
