i am trying to create a custom baluster design for a staircase of mine.  i have the baluster designed correctly, but am trying to get the balusters to be on every 4th stair tread.  i try to place it every 3'-8" but they dont fall on the treads, they float.  they are attaching to the stringers in reality, but i want the balusters to come down at the mid-point of every 4th tread.

 any suggestions?
