i am new to revit and i am trying to put a rrof on the house i am working on but one problem i am having is getting revit to model it as a truss. the roof looks great but i can not figure out how to change it from rafters to truss. thanks, Wes

you have to place truss families in your drawing if you're looking for cross sections to show up. i think the truss/rafter check box is for your roof mass. truss is what i use and it attaches to your exterior wall face when i think rafter goes to the interior wall face. im not 100% sure of that though

there are many truss families posted here. download them and use component to place them in your drawing. It will be time consuming.
