Is there a way to specify a standard prefix for the x-refs that Revit produces when exporting the DWG?  Say you save the file using the sheet number.  Revit uses this number as a prefix.  i.e. a101-View-1.  When you have a linked Revit file it converts this as well, but instead of View-1 it uses the name of the link.  I would like there to be a way to replace the naming convention using the sheet number with one using "x" or some thing similar.  Probably not possible, but it would be very useful.

to date there is no way to do that, it is very annoying when you need to export 50 sheets and can't do it all at once...

maybe you could export using the sheet number and use a bulk renaming program after the export?

we do it sheet by sheet by sheet...

Well, we do use the sheet number and this works alright.  But, we have a file that contains 7 linked models (giant project) and Revit creates an autoCAD x-ref for each.  This has caused some confusion with our consultants.  They constantly call us for clarification.  It's not the end of the world, but just annoying.

How's the weather down under?
