I'm relatively new at Revit, and I am having troubles changing the colors of the walls. In the wall properties i know how to edit the exterior color and it shows up how i want it in 3D mode, but when i go to render it goes back to the original default color. This is the same with the doors and windows. Any help please?

In order to change the color of a material in a rendering, you have to assign accurender materials. Under Settings --> Materials, the selection for material color under the heading "Shading" only applies to shaded views. The second heading "AccuRender" is where you set up your materials for acutal renderings (using the rendering tab). You also might want to check that you're pointing to the AccuRender library by going to Settings --> Options, then click the Rendering Tab. Check to make sure "AccuRender resource location" is pointing to the right directory. If not, then all your materials will render gray.
