It would fantastic if we were given the ability to control the opacity of a shaded region- and I don't mean opacity control over model categories (the halftone check box).  There have been many a times where it would have been great to be able to lighten just a portion of the drawing. 

(Or, if this control is already available, someone please tell me how!)
