First you need to have a view that you want to render...for example an elevation. Then create a camera view. Open the camera view and go to view/dynamically modify view (see attached image) From there you can click the tall, narrow arrow and choose orient to other view - choose your elevation. Voila! you can render it!

Hi mr. jacobs: I am having a lot of trouble rendering my elevations. The colours for the curtain wall members does not show up. (but they look fine in 3D views) I was trying out your option, and that crashed my revit 4 times... Do you have any other solution that might resolve my problem? ( i don't want to fall back to photoshop, that would defeat the purpose of going to revit) Any help would be much apprecitated. Thanks, susan tang
