I need to create a climbing vine/ivy for a multi-story green wall, any suggestions? or Does anyone have any tips on the interworkings of trees, plants, etc. or know where there would be a tutorial concerning this? A general overview and specific intricate interworkings would be extremely helpful if possible, thank you!

Revit has some pretty good vegetation features, but they are a little hard to find. In a previous post I wrote: "I had a hard time with the limited tree options at first, also. Check this out. Revit has dozens of trees and shrubs. Difficult to believe? They are hidden, more or less. Heres what you do. Place a tree somewhere. Then go to its Properties, Edit/New then Duplicate. Go down to Other and click on Plant Name. TADA. Bulbs, Cacti, Groundcover, Herbaceous, Indoor Plants, Palms,Conifers, Deciduous, Evergreen, and Vines. Right-click on the sample image to the right and you can edit everything from the leaves to the flowers, and even the branches. Now the real question is 'Why are these plants so hard to find?' You got me. Have fun with your new toys." You should find the vines you are looking for this way. ArchWestCY

Yeah, obscurity seems to be a logical bug yet to be worked out by the team at Revit autodesk! Although the lack of a clear and thorough documentation/tutorials seems in some ways to be intentional - conspiracy! Anyway thanks for the tip! If i make it very far with the climbing vine or whatever i'll be sure to post it!

Hi. I have tried placing all sorts of trees, but none of them have "Plant Name" in their properties.  What am I missing?
