I've got a multi building (multi-level) project (campus like) that's been setup with worksets. Problem is that one of the buildings was started in the site file and I'd like to pull that out so that building can become it's own file. Any idea how to extract, if you will, this 5 level building from the site file so that I can link it back in.

If you create a copy of the original file, you could delete out everything but the building you want to work on, then go back to the original file and delete out the single building. That way the coordinates are correct for import when you are ready. You should be able to go to File>Import>RVT then select Shared Coordinates when you are ready to bring it back in.
Hope that helps...
I'm trying to set up a 3 building complex (each is different) in worksets so we can streamline the redlining process. Any suggestions on setting that up so each building can be worked on individually?
