My boss would like for me to put several elevation targets on my building sections indicating where the top of deck is located( it varies due to sloping roof). I can't think of a way to do this other than using levels however it will not let me label more than one level the same, T/ Deck. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried "spot dimensions" located on the "drafting" tab?
You can play with them to make them look like "level heads", but they can have a prefix/suffix that read consistant like T.O. Deck. They can be used to pick an edge of an object, but if it is sloping I'm not sure you will get a proper result.

I did try the spot elevation after I posted my question but it doesn't let me edit the text dimension or move it around.

For those of you who come across the same problem, I was able to make new elevation targets for this purpose. I have up uploaded them to this site so you can download them if needed. I named them Left Elevation Target and Right Elevation Target.
