Hi all,
Just wondering how i can assign a material to a solid extrusion which ive modelled as a solid form? Normally ive applied decals to it to get the textures I want but this seems tedious as i have to assign textures to all 4 sides of a solid usually.
thanks
Josh

Welcome Josh.
You have to assign the materials to the object. Depending on what it is, you can select the item, right click and select properties. In there somewhere is a way to change the materials properties.
If you've created a mass object you have to convert it to something first, a wall, roof, or floor.
For the project, you also want to check out the Settings>Materials section and also the Settings>Object Styles section.

I think i figured it out. istead of going
Properties/Edit|New/ then look for the material section (which isnt there)
what i should have done was...
Click Object then
Edit/Click Object/Properties/Material Drop down arrow/accu render texture button
and done!
thanks framerman
