raising your view properties cut line would make your ceiling visible in plan view but it would also defeat the purpose of your RCP's

Lift the view range to make your ceiling visible. Use the Linework tool to chenge the line style. Set VIEW RANGE back and you should see the selected ceiling lines. It is actually the ceiling not just a line. Was this what you were after?

I think Esafin is from Finland. In Finland ceiling areas are marked in plan view with dashdot line which goes the ceiling area from corner to corner. This line should be symbolic line which should be presented only in plan view. I believe that this is quite specific style to mark ceiling areas and it's not included in Revit yet.
