Hi, I Just purchased ACAD07 And ReVit structures4, however I cannot find any books for beginners, or anyone else for that matter. the "tutorials" included in the software are horrible and I'm stuck with an equally horriblY expensive program and no way to use it. Maybe you can begin with "getting started" under the help menu. It's very easy and if you can follow it and finish it.After that you will get a genaral cognition with Revit. Then you can see the "tutorials".

Thanks, that's what I actually meant. When I go into the getting started excercises, it is not clear to me what steps and screen items they are referring to. For Ex.at the "Adding new levels'under 'Create Foundation and Level 1 at: the line 'Double-click the level elevation for Foundation, enter -9'- 0"
[-2700 mm], and press ENTER.' I court figure what is level elevation in order to double-click it. Anyway, I'll see if I can go in there again with a fresh mind. Thanks Smile

Hello,

I happen to teach Revit Structures 4 and just wanted to let you know that there really isn't much out there for books.

I've looked at them all, but I feel the best are the AOTC ( Autodesk Official Training Courseware), AATC (Autodesk Autorized Training Courseware), and the User's Guide.

All can easily be obtained from your local reseller.

AOTC's usally run from $50-70 while the user's guide is $5.

Hope this helps.
