I have created a switch that is an Electrical Fixture Wall Based family. I have a Geberic Annotation Symbol loaded into with the switch symbol in plan. I have the visibility of the plate sut off in plan. My question is, with our making the plate height over the cut plane (thus defeating its use in elevation) or creating hundreds of plan regions, how do I get the generic annotation part to view in Ceiling Plans where I show all of my electrical.

first,
why would you show the annotation and not the switch?
second, why would you bother with annotation for a switch on a RCP? I always did electrical plans as floor plans (never heard of it as a RCP)
third, you could create anoter switch with annotation above the original switch, height where you want, and hide in all views but plan/rpc... not sure if it's going to work though...
