say I have a fixture family that is supposed to have 6 signs on it. When I import it into my project, I want the signage schedule to show the sign as having 6 instances for each fixture I place. How do I do that? thanks in advance! -hj-

Hey HJ, Not sure if I'm understanding the question: Go to the schedule, Right click>properties>Sorting/Grouping: Check the Itemize every instance box. It should displayeach instance seperately. If this is not the problem could you give me more info? Bob

I figured out a way to do what I was wanting to do. Nested families do not show up in the families list of a project file...but if I group the families in the project instead of nesting them in other families, then they show up on schedules! Why didn't I think of this earlier??!!
